SmartMove Challenge
SmartMove Challenge is designed to support the organization of various types of challenges in rural areas
Set up of SmartMove system can be defined in the following way:
- Residents use the ChallengeCreator app for creating touristic routes being used in challenges
- Tourists use ActivityMonitoring app for participating in a particular challenge
- Leaderboard shows the results of Challenge
Using ChallengeCreator app, a resident defines a touristic route as a walking “challenge” for active tourists. A route is described with GPS coordinates of the route, geo-profile of the route (length, inclination/declination), cardio-profile-standard (avg. HR, min/max HR), time-standard for given weather condition (and the age/gender of the route creator). The information about the weather condition at the start and end of the route are collected as well.
Physically-active tourists are using ActivityMonitoring app in order to select one of existing routes and execute it, whereas the system is collecting all above mentioned data.
After completing selected route, the tourist gets displayed on the mobile phone the results (time, calories burned, avg HR) and can go to the Portal to check the leaderboard.
LEADERBOARD
The leaderboard is a web app that ranks the performance of all users giving each of them a gamified score and rank.
